Join us for the 2nd Annual Dismal Swamp Stomp Half Marathon and the Inaugural Children's Half Mile Fun Run in beautiful Chesapeake, Virginia on Saturday, April 19, 2008. The flat 13.1-mile course will take runners on a spectacular wilderness journey through lush, mysterious landscape and rich history.

Stomp through forested wetlands on a peaceful path along the Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge. Running parallel to the course is the Dismal Swamp Canal, part of the famed Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway.
