THE BIGGEST LOSER & THE VOICE STAR!

Many of you have probably met or seen or even ran with Fleet Feet Sports Training Program coach and FFSRC fun run regular, Mary Willett. She's the one that's always smiling (and always winning the raffles!).
Not only is Mary a local Fleet Feet Sports celebrity, her daughter, Erin Willett is a current contestant on NBC's The Biggest Loser and was previoulsy a contestant on NBC's The Voice, taking fifth overall during season 2 in 2012.

This Thursday, March 3rd Erin will join us in-store for an exclusive Meet & Greet -featuring a Q&A session, a performance of her new single - Out of the Darkness and a fun run & walk.

To get you ready for Thursday, we caught up with Erin (she's just getting back from the LIVE! season finale) and asked her a few questions:

When did you start singing?
I can't really remember when I 'started singing'...music was always in my home growing up. My father was a musician and would always play piano and sing at home and church and I loved it. I guess I really started to get involved in singing when I was in the children's choir at my church, St. Raphael's in Rockville, MD. It was an outlet that I looked forward to every week.

Most memorable performance to date?
My most memorable performance to date would be when I got to perform at the Girl Scouts: Rock The Mall in Washington, DC in 2012. It was such a big moment since Girl Scouts was a big part of my life growing up, and I had attended the sing-a-long as a little girl and always wanted to be a part of it. I was honored to perform in front of more than 200,000 girls and inspire them to follow their dreams.

Favorite song to perform?
I love to perform "I Want You Back" by the Jackson 5. It was my blind audition song on The Voice and is just a song you can't help but love. I feel like that song naturally puts a smile on anyone's face and that's a great feeling as a performer.

Favorite part of being on The Biggest Loser?
My favorite part of The Biggest Loser was the knowledge that I gained; about myself and what I am capable of, but also nutrition and fitness advice that I can use everyday of my life to make the best choices. I truly believe that knowledge is power.

Any fun/interesting fact you'd like to share before Thursday's event?
...I literally just ran my first half marathon...THIS MORNING!!! It was so exciting!

Way to go, Erin!! We are thrilled to have you joining us in-store and look forward to hear more about your journey.
