Don't be afraid to ask about chafing. It's not taboo.

When it comes to runners - chafing is a big, important concern that everyone must deal with at some point.

As we increase in our mileage and often when the weather is either warm and sticky and/or rainy, one of the things that most runners face is the issue of chafing and blisters. There is nothing worse then chafing in sensitive areas of our body along with blisters on our feet. 

For women we often experience it along the straps or the lines of our sports bras as well as our thighs and arms when wearing sleeveless tops. For men it is often the thighs and chest area.
