This program is designed to improve your endurance and distance, preparing you for the 10K. The program provides variety and intensity at a gradual pace to maximize benefits. This 10K program has interval (run/walk) and run pace options.
 

 

 
TWO PACE STYLES

Within each pace style there will be multiple paces. Whether you want to run or do a run/walk interval you will find a speed right for you!

 
INTERVAL (RUN/WALK):

This run/walk interval program focuses on speed/distance by using a consistent run/walk methodology. Participants develop a run/walk pattern and train to complete a 10K using that pattern. A great program for those coming off of injuries or who have been away from running and want to try a new approach.
*REQUIREMENTS: Can currently run/walk 2.5 miles.

RUN:

Focuses on strength, speed and distance. This pace option if for participants who want to run a 10K.
*REQUIREMENTS: Can currently run 3 miles.

 
PROGRAM FORMAT
Each Session Includes:

- Weekly organized and coached run/walk
- Professionally developed daily training schedule
- Various pace group options (interval, run)
- Weekly educational/special guest discussions
- Coach led dynamic warm-up and cool down
